Memorial services for Marguerite Burdette McCurry, 85, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel, Cairo, GA. Rev. Chris Allen will officiate. Mrs. McCurry passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Thursday, September 25, 2025.

Mrs. McCurry was born on May 19, 1940, in Fayetteville, GA, to the late Chester Burdette and Margaret Williams Burdette. In 1956, she married Allen Zeb McCurry, who preceded her in death of August 31, 2007. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Cairo.

Survivors include: her children, Hal McCurry (Lisa) of Carriere, MS, David McCurry (Jackie) of Cairo, GA, Rhonda McCurry Dellinger (Allen) of Gainesville, GA; many beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Marilyn Pullen, Helen Goodman, Julia Goodpastor; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; and siblings, Steve Burdette, Sonny Burdette and Marie Taylor.
