Mrs. Maria Jesus Manzo, age 98, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025 in Gainesville, Georgia. She was born to the late Jose Del Rio and Maria Cruz Contreras on August 24, 1927 in Jalisco, Mexico.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at St. John Paul II Catholic Mission at 12:00 PM. Father Roberto Herrero will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Memorial Park Funeral home on Friday, December 26, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Mrs. Manzo is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Ismael Manzo.

She is survived by her children, Bertha Lilia Manzo Del Rio of Guadalajara, Mex, Olivia Manzo Del Rio of Tamazula, Mex, Rosalva Manzo Del Rio of Gainesville, GA, Saul Manzo Del Rio of Gainesville, GA, Rubicelia Manzo Del Rio of Gainesville, GA, Maria Alicia Manzo Del Rio, of Gainesville, GA, Amalia Manzo Del Rio of Gainesville, GA; and children, Israel Manzo Del Rio of Tamazula, Jalisco, and Crisanto Manzo Del Rio of Gainesville, GA.

La Sra. María Jesús Manzo, de 98 años, falleció el domingo 21 de diciembre de 2025 en Gainesville, Georgia. Nació el 24 de agosto de 1927 en Jalisco, México, hija de los difuntos José Del Río y María Cruz Contreras.

El funeral se llevará a cabo el sábado 27 de diciembre de 2025 en la Misión Católica San Juan Pablo II a las 12:00 PM. El Padre Roberto Herrero oficiará la ceremonia.
