Marie Blessing (Blessing) Dixon

Mrs. Marie (Blessing) Dixon, age 84, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025.

Mrs. Dixon was born September 15, 1941, in Anniston, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Rex C. Blessing and Ruby Doska (Hughes) Blessing. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Myrtle Jane Blessing; brother, Emmett Blessing, and grandson, Ian David Benton.

Mrs. Dixon is survived by her daughter, Sherry Hayes of Gainesville; son, Randall E. Hayes of Flowery Branch; granddaughter, Brianna D. Thomas of Gainesville; granddaughter, Ansley Shoun (Peter) of Greensboro, NC; granddaughter, Mackenzie Hayes of Philadelphia, PA; grandson, Randall Alexander Hayes of Flowery Branch; brother, Leonard Blessing of Gainesville; sister, Mary Payne of Flowery Branch; brothers, Benjamin P. Blessing (Judith) of Guatemala and William Bascum Blessing of Gainesville She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
