Mrs. Mary Doris Allison, age 81, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia. She was born to the late Alvin Coy Archer and America Florine (Tench) Archer on September 8, 1944 in Gainesville, Georgia.
She was known to many as Dot, Nanny Dot, or Aunt Dot. She was a woman of confidence and poise, one who treasured her family. She enjoyed working in her yards, girl beach trips and anytime she could gather with her family. She was full of spunk and sass, and kept it till the very end. She retired from Curt’s Restaurant as a waitress and was a care giver.

Reverend Lee Cantrell will officiate the service. The family will be receiving friends on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
