Mary Lynn Schlossmann (née Gerlikas), 58, of Flowery Branch, Georgia, formerly of Illinois, entered eternal life on Saturday, June 27, 2026. She was born on November 14, 1967 in Chicago, IL, to the late Peter and Adele Gerlikas. Mary married her late husband Michael Schlossmann July 28, 2000 in Barrington, Illinois. Together they shared a wonderful marriage of 21 years and raised four children. She worked as a real estate agent with Chestatee Brokers Realty and was a member of the Prince of Peace Church in Flowery Branch.
Mary loved spending quality time with her family, traveling, and making cherished memories together through outings, vacations and shared experiences. She found comfort in her home life and valued her church community. Her faith remained an important part of her life. She loved her children and grandchildren and held them close to her heart.
She is loved and will be missed by her daughter, Crystal Killeen; son, Aaron Killeen; stepson, Chris Schlossmann; stepdaughter, Brianna (fiancé Riley) Schlossmann; grandchildren, Aiden Hernandez, Alaric Meyer, Brendan McGarry, Chevelle McGarry, and Devalynn McGarry; brother, Peter (Miriam) Gerlikas, sisters, Sharon Gerlikas, Donna (Rick) Delisle, and Joy Chapa; mother-in-law, Elaine Schlossmann; father-in-law, Robert Schlossmann; and brother-in-law, Darrick (Renae) Schlossmann; nieces, Gabriela Chapa, Brittany (Ben) Schroeder, Lauren (fiancé Joseph) Delisle, and Olivia Schlossmann; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, grandparents, and sister, Andrea Gerlikas.
The beautiful memories we shared will live on in our hearts. We will miss you dearly. May you rest in peace.
A visitation will be held Friday, July 10, 2026, at Anderson Funeral & Cremation Services, 218 West Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church, 402 Church St, Belvidere, IL. A burial will take place at Saint James Cemetery after mass. Memorials in Mary’s honor may be given to Southwest Christian Care at swchristiancare.org.
