Marylou Kindall Arrowood

Mrs. Marylou Arrowood, 79, of Gainesville, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023 at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Drewery Loggins will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Born on January 22, 1944 in Blairsville, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Thelma Davenport Kindall. She was a devoted and loving housewife who took pride in caring for her family. Mrs. Arrowood was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Arrowood is preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Arrowood and her sister, Claudine Keller.

Mrs. Arrowood is survived by her son, Gary Arrowood of Gainesville; daughter, Joan Ingram of Gainesville; grandchildren, Andrew and Jason Mize; four great-grandchildren; sister, Frances Tullis of Habersham and a number of other loving relatives.
