Melinda Kaye Jones Franklin

Mrs. Melinda Kaye Jones Franklin, age 69, passed away peacefully in her residence on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 in Gainesville, Georgia. She was born to the late Charles Arthur Jones and Jeanette H. Gamble Jones on December, 16, 1955.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Franklin is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Christopher G. Wolski. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and “MoMo” to everyone. She loved, to travel, loved the ocean, and loved to cook.

She is survived by her daughters, Carrie Hogseed (James) of Gainesville, GA, Mandy Stephens (Brandan) of Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, Kaylee Couch (Will) of Dahlonega, GA, Nathaniel Stephens (Kayla) of Gainesville, GA, Zion Stephens of Gainesville, GA, Gavin London (Grace) of Gainesville, GA, Charlsie Carroll (Nathan) of Oklahoma, and Wren London of Savannah, GA; siblings, Chuck Jones of Covington, GA, Laurie Huckaby (Mike) of Gainesville, GA; and many other loving family and friends.
