Michele Helin Decker

Mrs. Michele Helin Decker, age 76 of Flowery Branch, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026 at her home with her husband present.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church with interment following at Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Pastors Steven Clark and John Batusic and will officiate. The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Decker was born June 24, 1949 to the late Walter Helin & Jean Adkisson Helin in Mt. Vernon, Washington. She was a retired special education teacher and speech and language pathologist with El Monte Public School System in El Monte, California.             

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, David Edward Decker; daughters, Elizabeth Decker & Melissa Alford; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and brother, Art Helin.
