Mr. Doyle Bennett Obituary

Mr. Doyle Bela Bennett, 88, of Gainesville, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022 following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Derrick Howard will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born November 2, 1934 in Chicopee Village, he was the son of the late Jesse Doyle Bennett and Willie McKinney Bennett. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Bennett retired from Con Agra and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Bennett was preceded in death by his sisters, Mildred Kelly and Retha Crook.

Mr. Bennett is survived by his wife of 60 years, Inez Taylor Bennett of Gainesville; sister, Judy Free of Gainesville and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
