Mr. Dwight Christopher Smith

Mr. Dwight Christopher Smith, 57, of Lula passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Drewery Loggins will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Born on July 19, 1965 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late Charlie and Cennie Jarrard Smith. He was a mechanic for Hulsey’s.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by a number of brothers and sisters.

Mr. Smith is survived by his sons, Christopher Dwayne Smith of Lula, Jeffery Smith of Cleveland; daughter, Debra Smith of Lavonia; sons, Dwight Smith of Clermont, Donnie Smith of Gainesville; daughter, Chasity Smith of Gainesville; son, DeAaron Smith of Gainesville;’ sisters, Doris Wehunt of Dawsonville, Pat Ransom of Lula, Anita Smith of Lula, Carolyn Anderson of Asheville, NC; brother, Wilbert Smith of Cleveland; sister, Pat Smith of Stockbridge; a number of grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
