Mr. William “Bill” Stuart Bradford, 67 of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022 at his residence with his family by his side.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2022 at St. Michael Catholic Church. Father Tim Hepburn will officiate. Interment will be in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on March 12, 1955 in Atlanta, he was the son of Jeannette Ayers Johnson and of the late Hoyt Lee Bradford. Mr. Bradford attended DeKalb College where he received his degree in Fire Science. He worked for DeKalb County Fire Department where he was a fireman for 30 years retiring as a Captain. After retiring, he began a career in Real Estate where he worked for 15 years. Mr. Bradford was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and the Atlanta Blues Society.

He loved motorcycle riding, driving his antique cars, boating, fishing, and rabbit hunting. His most favorite thing to do was spend time with his family.

Mr. Bradford is survived by his wife, Carol Glosemeyer Bradford of Gainesville; daughter and son in law, Tara Bradford and Logan Joiner of Flowery Branch; son, Jim Bradford of Braselton; grandson, Landon Webber of Flowery Branch; mother, Jeannette Ayers Johnson; brothers and sisters in law, Robert and Virginia Bradford, Lee and Christina Bradford and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Vincent de Paul, of St. Michael Catholic Church, 1440 Pearce Circle, Gainesville, GA 30501, a ministry that was very important to Mr. Bradford.
