Mrs. Harlene Jordan Kirkpatrick

Harlene Jordan Kirkpatrick of Flowery Branch went home to be with the Lord on November 10, 2022.  She was 83.  Harlene retired from Delta Airlines and enjoyed traveling the world.  She also enjoyed sitting in her gazebo among stately oaks and feeding her birds.  She found every opportunity to have fun.

Harlene was born on November 18, 1938 to the late Harlan Jordan and Lucille Warren Jordan and grew up in Atlanta.  She lived in Clayton County during her years with Delta, and she moved to Flowery Branch in 1995.  She and the love of her life, Sid Kirkpatrick, built a home in the woods and enjoyed the serenity of their home.  Harlene was a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church and loved her Church family.

Harlene is survived by her two sons, Patrick Howard Stephens and his wife Sue of Nashville, Tennessee, and Michael Van Stephens and his wife Karen of Cleveland, Georgia.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Amy Stephens, Melanie Powell, and Eric Stephens, three great grandchildren, and extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 12 at the Oakwood City Cemetery with Pastor Zack Williams officiating.
