Mrs. Joan Delores Collins

Mrs. Joan Delores Collins, age 72, of Buford passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Braselton, surrounded by her family.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Memorial Park South Chapel. Rev. Larry Ballard & Rev. Lee Roberts will officiate with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery.

Mrs. Collins was born January 22, 1950 to the late Jimmy & Ruby Ballard in Griffin, Georgia. She was a skin care specialist at Sephora and a member of Free Chapel – Gainesville. Despite battling cancer for the past 28 years, she has always kept strong to her faith, and loved her family and friends in the most selfless way. She touched so many people’s lives. To know her was to love her.

Mrs. Collins is survived by her daughter, Wendy Davis; granddaughter, Chloe Roebuck; brothers, Larry Ballard, Barry Phillips, & Mike Phillips; and sisters, Sue Fischer & Linda Daniels. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Davis Roebuck, and sister, Lynn Phillips.
