Paul Andrews Duffey, Jr.

Surrounded by his loving family, Paul Andrews Duffey, Jr, 76, was welcomed into the arms of his Savior, Wednesday, November 26, 2025 in Gainesville, Georgia.

Paul Duffey, Jr. was born in Dothan, Alabama, son of Bishop Paul Andrews Duffey, Sr. and Anna Louise Calhoun Duffey. He was a 1971 graduate of Auburn University, with a degree in Animal Science. He always welcomed the opportunity to share “War Eagle.” He was well respected in his field as a Quality Assurance Manager in his career with Purina Mills/Land O’Lakes. He loved music, playing guitar and singing, especially at the Duffey Family Thanksgiving Reunion.

Paul’s most important and greatest joy was his family. His devotion was unwavering. His deep love for his family and his memory will remain a lasting blessing.

Paul Duffey, Jr. resided in Flowery Branch, Georgia and is survived by his wife of 48 years, Tanya Hovland Duffey, a son, Cody Duffey (Jessica), two daughters, Heather Duffey Adkins (Chris) and Kimberly Duffey Hutson (Eric), a sister, Melanie Duffey Hutto (David), seven grandchildren, Olivia Adkins Jackson (Christopher), Noah and Joshua Adkins, Jake and Kyleigh Hutson, and Trent and Finley Duffey, a great-grandchild, Owen Jackson, two brothers-in-law, Ronald Hovland (Gloria) and Bruce Hovland (Patricia), nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.

A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
