Paulina Gomez Smith

Paulina G. Smith, 88, died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Flowery Branch, GA on January 10, 2026.

Born in a small village near Barcelona, Spain on November 12, 1937, Paulina came to America with her husband, US service member, Stan, and infant son, Paul in 1960. She attended school and proudly received her citizenship in 1961. Paulina spent most of her adult life as a homemaker, gourmet cook, and party hostess. She greatly enjoyed decorating and spending time with her family and friends.

Paulina was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Stan, and sisters, Magdalena and Puri. She is survived by her son, Paul (Cindy) and grandson, Cody (Annie).

Paulina was a member of Celebration Church in Hoschton, GA.

A future service and Celebration of Life will take place in Pensacola, Florida where Paulina’s ashes will be interred with her husband, Stan.
