Phillip Anthony Driver

Phillip Anthony Driver, “Big Phil” or “Big Daddy,” age 66, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025, surrounded by family.

Born on February 17, 1959, Phillip was the son of the late Joe Haden Driver and Imogene Wilmoth Driver. He was preceded in death by his siblings Joe Driver Jr. and Judy Chaffin, and by his beloved son, Matthew Driver.

Phillip lived a life defined by quiet strength, humor, and heart. He believed in working hard and playing hard, and he never missed a chance to find laughter even in difficult moments. A talented craftsman and longtime self-employed stucco business owner, he took pride in building things with his hands and creating work that lasted.

He loved water sports, boating, soccer, collecting sports cars, and spending time socializing with friends. Phillip brought people together without trying — whether through a joke, a story, or simply his presence.

He is survived by his children Phillip Driver Jr., Jill Driver Wright, and William Chase Driver, and by his grandchildren Rhett and Reece Driver; Patrick and Liam Meahl, and Arthur Wright. He is also survived by his siblings Curtis Driver and Janie Manus.

Phillip’s legacy is laughter, fun, resilience and craftsmanship. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
