Rebecca Marie Frohnapfel

Mrs. Rebecca Marie Frohnapfel, age 53, of Sugar Hill passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Gainesville, surrounded by her family.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 PM  Friday, June 19, 2026 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.  Father Sean Lee will preside.

Mrs. Frohnapfel was born July 16, 1972 to the late Gerald & Teresa (Dilloway) Coffey in Saginaw, Michigan.  A devout Catholic and a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, she was a Payroll Specialist with Ninth District Opportunity.  

Mrs. Frohnapfel is survived by her husband, Michael Sean Frohnapfel; son, Brady LaPlante; daughter, Ashley (Mitchell) Weber; son, Ryan LaPlante; son, Chase LaPlante; stepson, Will Frohnapfel; and stepson, Michael Frohnapfel. 

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, John Coffey.

Rebecca will be remembered for the way she effortlessly brought people together, brightened every room with her presence, loved every animal as her own, finding peace in the outdoors, and poured her creativity into thoughtful crafts for herself and everyone she loved
