Rebecca "Jordan" Sawdey

Rebecca Jordan Sawdey, age 31, of Cartersville and her infant daughter, Savannah Rae Sawdey, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023.

Jordan was born on October 14, 1991 to Danny Farmer and Julie Manders Arnold in Snellville Georgia.  She graduated from Peachtree Ridge High School in 2010 and graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. Jordan worked as a Risk Management Specialist with the Riverstone Group and held a Certified Fraud Examiner designation.  She was an active member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and the Insurance Internal Audit Group (IIAG).

She is survived by her husband, Christopher Sawdey; her son, Tripp Sawdey; her parents, Danny and Tammy Farmer, Mark and Julie Arnold; in-laws Jeff and Bonnie Sawdey; her grandmother, Patricia Manders; grandparents, Bobby and Carol Farmer and siblings Jarrett Farmer, Whitney and Randall Williams, Amy and Michael Norton, Eli and Kensie Arnold and Ashley and Charles Freels; her aunt Mary Jo Huddleston and her aunt and uncle Ken and Laurie Padgett.  Jordan is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jordan and Christopher married in June of 2018 and welcomed Tripp into their lives in 2021.  Jordan was a loving wife, mother, daughter and friend. Some of her favorite things were spending time with family and friends, listening to country music, watching her beloved Georgia Bulldogs, drinking Publix diet green tea, decorating her home and shopping for antiques.

A celebration of life will be held at Memorial Park Braselton Chapel, 5257 Green Street, Hwy 53, Braselton, GA 30517.  The family will receive friends from 11AM – 12PM on Saturday, November 4, 2023.  A memorial service will be held at noon, with a luncheon immediately following the service in the Magnolia Room.  For those unable to attend, the service will be viewable at https://vimeo.com/875857625
