Rena Balbirer Cooper, age 63 of Auburn, Georgia passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
She was born September 27, 1962, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Ms. Roslyn Hirsch and Dr. Sheldon D. Balbirer.
Ms. Cooper is preceded in death by her parents, Roslyn and Sheldon, her grandparents- Al & Estelle and Lou & Libby
Rena is survived by her family, including her husband Jim- her sister Amy- her brother in law Mike - her niece Ryker- her brother in law Michael- her niece Megan- her aunt Myrna & uncle Steve- her aunt Phyllis & Dianne -her cousins Jackie, Monica & Aaron and her mother in law - Linda
Rena was married for 40 years to Jim. She was a 1984 BA graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a 1994 Masters Candidate in Health Education at the University of Alabama Birmingham
Services with be held in the chapel at 2:00 PM on Thursday April 30, 2026 at the following address
