Richard Bailey Obituary

Dick Bailey, age 83, passed away in Hoschton, GA, on Wednesday, December 24, 2025.  Dick was born February 3, 1942, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from Judge Memorial High School and the University of Rochester (NY).

Dick married Anamarie Enderlin in 1965. They had two children. Bryan and Carol. His employment took them from Salt Lake City, to Dayton, OH, Rochester, NY, Fremont, CA, and back to Rochester where they lived for a total of 48 years.

 

Dick enjoyed a successful 34-year computer systems management career with Xerox Corporation. After his retirement in 2004, Dick volunteered with AARP for 14 years preparing free income tax returns for the elderly. He also volunteered for 8 years on the staff of the community magazine published by his homeowner’s association. His hobbies included photography, cooking and all things computer related.

He is preceded in death by his brothers Jim and Tom. He is survived by his brother, John (Robin) and sisters Mary and Liz (Dave) Fox, children, Bryan (Jill), Carol (Scott) Santmier, as well as four grandchildren.

A private service will be held with immediate family.
