Richard Millwood

Richard Millwood, age 62, of Flowery Branch, GA, passed away on Tuesday, June 16th, at his home, surrounded by his close friends and family. He was preceded in death by his father Grady Millwood and his mother Lida Millwood of Flowery Branch, GA. He is survived by his brothers Royce (Jenny) Millwood of Flowery Branch; Tim (Denise) Millwood of Warner Robins; and Gary Millwood of Flowery Branch as well as multiple nieces and nephews.

Richard was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. He loved hunting and anything outdoors. He also had a passion for fiberglass boat repair and restoration, a trade in which he worked for almost 50 years.

A funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Reverend Mike Taylor and Dr. Zach Williams will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the Funeral Home on Friday, June 19, 2026 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
