Ricky Gerald Hill

Mr. Ricky Gerald Hill, age 70, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026 in Lula, Georgia. He was born to Grady Hill and the late Reba Carnes Hill on March 10, 1955 in Gainesville, Georgia. During his younger years, he traveled extensively for his work, but in his later years he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He worked and retired from OHaus.

A funeral service will be held at the Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 23, 2026 at 1:00 PM with internment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 23, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home.  Dr. Tyler Smiley and Dr. Tom Smiley will officiate the service.

Mr. Hill is preceded in death by his mother; sisters, Janet Shope and Jean Lance.

He is survived by his daughter Marie Ellis (J.J.) of Gainesville; son Brian Hill (Lauren) of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Lucy Hill, Libby Hill; and father, Grady Hill of Gainesville.
