Ricky Wayne Towles

Mr. Ricky Wayne Towles, age 79 of Hoschton, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 21, 2026 with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Memorial Park Braselton Funeral Home.

Mr. Towles was born April 2, 1946 to the late Howard D. Towles & Georgette Mignerey Towles in Greenwood, South Carolina. Ricky grew up in Berea and graduated from Berea High School in 1964, where he played football on the school’s first football team. He served honorably in the United States Air Force and eventually went on to retire as a national account salesman after spending his entire career with Graybar Electric Company. He won salesman of the year in 1984.

Ricky enjoyed playing golf, tennis, reading spy novels, and has always enjoyed eating ice cream! He was a devoted South Carolina Gamecocks fan and loved Carolina football.

He is survived by his wife, Billie Cobb Towles; son, Jeff (Karen) Towles; daughter, Jennifer (Brian) Worley; grandchildren, Bailey Bidinger, Madison Towles, Kinsley Towles, Trey Worley & Allie Worley; and great-granddaughter, Lainey Bidinger.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
