It is with heavy hearts that we say our Mr. Robert Brantley Bishop, age 63 of Toccoa, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at his home, surrounded by family.

No services will be held at this time.

Mr. Bishop was born July 24, 1962 to Charles William Bishop & Pauline Sapp Bishop in Miami, Florida.

He is survived by his son, Joshua Bishop; daughter, Rachel Bishop; mother, Pauline Bishop; sister, Teresa Cannon; brothers, Charles Bishop, and Billy Bishop; grandsons, Kaiden Carson and L. Cooper Carson

Robert's life was a testament to pertinaciousness, grit, and resilience. His love and his warmth will forever live on in our hearts. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered. Our family is taking comfort in knowing that Robert is finally home and reunited with his father, Charles Bishop; daughter, Heather Bishop; nephews, Zachary Bishop and Shawn Bishop; Niece, Brooke (Brandon) Black and their children; grandmother, Verna May Buddenhagen and other family and friends that have been waiting for him. He is at peace and restored.
