Robert David Howington

Mr. Robert David Howington, 76, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, November 20, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.

A Graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 24, 2023 in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Cecil Johnson will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Born on April 18, 1947 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late J.B. and Sarah Howington. Mr. Howington Proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He studied Criminal Justice at Reinhardt College.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Howington was preceded in death by his wife, Onnie O’Shields Howington.

Mr. Howington is survived by his son, Joseph Samuel Aaron of Hiram, GA; daughter, Kathleen Denise McCollum of Ellijay, GA; son, Robert David Aaron of Rock Hill, SC; daughters, Amanda Kamminga (Blake), Angel Pierce both of Flowery Branch and a number of grandchildren.
