Robert "Bob" E. Keenan, Jr.

Robert “Bob” E. Keenan Jr., 62, of Dacula, GA, passed away Tuesday February 3, 2026 peacefully at home. He is survived by his wife, Mary D. Keenan; daughters Kelsey R. Powell (John), and Jessica A. Keenan; brother Tim Keenan (Julie) and sister Deborah Keenan; nephews Trevor P. Keenan (Hadley) and Nathan E. Keenan. 

He graduated from the University of Virginia in August 1985 with a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering. After a long career in property insurance he retired from Swiss Re as a senior property underwriter in summer of 2021. Bob was often found in the mountains fishing, at the race track with friends, at a dog event with his Itty Bitty Puppy, or on the beach with an IPA in hand. 

He will be interred at Memorial Park Cemetery in Gainesville, GA. A visitation will be held on Tuesday February 10th, 2026 from 1-3pm with a graveside service immediately following.
