Rodney Mark Pelles, 66, of Toccoa, GA, passed away on January 31, 2026. Born on July 9, 1959, Rodney was known for his humor, passion, and sociable nature, making friends wherever he went.
Rodney graduated from Steel Valley High School and furthered his education at Toccoa Falls College and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He spent his early career in factory work, and post-retirement, he pursued his passion of collectible coins by working at Toccoa Coin Shop.
A devout member of the Rehobath Assembly of God, Rodney's faith was a significant aspect of his life. He was an enthusiastic coin collector, a hobby he shared through his YouTube channel dedicated to coin collecting. He enjoyed angelfish and saltwater fish. Rodney also enjoyed photography, frequent visits to Waffle House, bowling, and baseball, particularly collecting baseball cards.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Pelles; children, Rebekah (Yakal) Gonzalez, Edward (Ines) Pelles, and Anna Pelles; grandchildren, Emma Pelles and Yohann Gonzalez; sister, Lisa Pelles Leff; brother, Stephen Pelles; and mother, Bernice Pelles. Rodney was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Pelles.
A service celebrating his life will be held 2PM Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Rehobath Assembly of God Church. Rodney's life was marked by his joyful spirit and generous heart, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
