Ronald Dwight McFarland

On Monday October 27, 2025, Ronald McFarland was welcomed into the open arms of our lord and savior. Ron proudly served his country in the United States Air Force then moved on to have a career at the City of Oakwood Georgia spanning over three decades playing a key role on the city council. He also worked for the US Postal service for thirty eight years before retiring.

Ron was first and foremost most a loving husband to his wife, Lennie for fifty seven years. Ron was blessed with a daughter, Resia McFarland with her children, Luke Ellis and Dillion Ellis and his wife, Victoria Ellis along with their two daughters Auden and Lilith. His son, Ronny and his wife, Nishala McFarland have four children Bryan, Lindsey, Zoey and Tucker. Ron cherished holidays and family functions. He was a man of integrity with family being all he needed.

Ron was survived by his loving sister, Linda McFarland.
