Mrs. Rosa Elena Chavez Rodriguez, age 56, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Gainesville, Georgia. She was born to the late Salvador Chavez Lerma and Maria Teresa Rodrigiuez Reyes on August 9, 1969, in Durango, Mexico.

Throughout her life, Rosa distinguished herself as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. We carry you with us in a way that words cannot express. Thank you for the love you gave us, for the memories that will never fade. Although you are no longer here, your presence lives on in our hearts. We will miss you more than words can say, but we hold fast to the love we shared because that never goes away.

A mass service will be held at St. John Paul II Catholic Mission on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Father Roberto Herrera will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Mrs. Chavez Rodriguez is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Jose Trinidad Chavez Rodriguez.

She is survived by her husband, Jaime Munoz, Sr.; son, Jaime Munoz, Jr.; daughter, Lorena Munoz; grandchildren, Jayden Isiah Munoz, Victoria Munoz, Isabella Mia Hulsey, Jovan J. Hulsey; brothers, Salvador Chavez Rodriguez, Marcelino Chavez Rodriguez, Luis Bernado Chavez Rodriguez, and Manuel de Jesus Chavez Rodriguez.

La Sra. Rosa Elena Chávez Rodríguez, de 56 años, falleció el sábado 25 de abril de 2026 en Gainesville, Georgia. Nació el 9 de agosto de 1969 en Durango, México, hija de los difuntos Salvador Chávez Lerma y María Teresa Rodríguez Reyes.

A lo largo de su vida, Rosa se distingio como una esposa, madre y abuela amorosa y devota.  Te llevamos con nosotros de una manera que las palabras no puden explicar. Gracias por el amor que nos diste, por los recuerdos que nunca se van. Aunque aun no estes aqui, tu presencia vive en nuestro corozones. Te vamos a extranar mas de lo que podemos expresar, pero nos aferramos al amor que compartimos por que eso nunca se va.

Se celebrará una misa en la Misión Católica San Juan Pablo II el miércoles 6 de mayo de 2026 a la 1:00 p. m. El Padre Roberto Herrera oficiará la misa. El sepelio tendrá lugar en el Cementerio Memorial Park. La familia recibirá a las amistades el martes 5 de mayo de 2026 de 10:00 a. m. a 7:00 p. m. en la Funeraria Memorial Park.

A la Sra. Chávez Rodríguez le precedieron en la muerte sus padres y su hermano, José Trinidad Chávez Rodríguez.

Le sobreviven su esposo, Jaime Muñoz, Sr.; su hijo, Jaime Muñoz, Jr.; Hija, Lorena Muñoz; nietos, Jayden Isiah Muñoz, Victoria Muñoz, Isabella Mia Hulsey, Jovan J. Hulsey; hermanos, Salvador Chávez Rodríguez, Marcelino Chávez Rodríguez, Luis Bernardo Chávez Rodríguez y Manuel de Jesús Chávez Rodríguez.
