Rosalia Lara

Mrs. Rosalia Lara, age 64, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026 in Atlanta, Georgia. She was born to the late Raul Lara and Noemi Carrillo on October 6, 1961 in Laredo, Texas.

A funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 19, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lara is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Amparo Mendoza, and Toty Lara.

She is survived by her husband, Ruben Alvarez of Flowery Branch; daughter, Rocio Velasquez of Flowery Branch; sisters, Dora Rodriguez of Laredo, Texas, Norma Lopez of Dallas, Texas, Patricia Orta of Winder, Georgia, Diana Carrillo of Gainesville, Georgia; grandchildren, Julio Mojica, Jr., Alyssa Mojica, and Esai Ruben Mojica
