Mrs. Ruth Eileen Waide Stills, 89, of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at her residence following an extended illness.

A Celebration of Life Service will be scheduled at a later date.

Born June 1, 1934 in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter to the late Alexander and Nettie Anderson Waide. She was retired from Ava White Tutorial where she was a secretary.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stills was preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Stills; son, David A. Stills and grandson, Timothy Strain.

Mrs. Stills is survived by her daughter and son in law, Lauren and George Mixon of Oakwood; daughter, Beverly Strain of MD; daughter in law, Dana Stills of OK; 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; nephew, Thomas Waide of Philadelphia, PA and other loving relatives.
