Obituary

Sally Wilson peacefully stepped into Glory September 7, 2023 at home where she resided with her Youngest daughter Kathy Fox by her side.

Sally was born in Lagrange, Georgia July 13, 1930 and was a fierce business woman.  She attended University of Michigan and received her accounting degree.  In 1979 Sally and her Husband Bill Wilson Bought their First Burger King Restaurant in Gainesville.  Together they built a flourishing franchise that grew to be 11 locations. Sally remained owner and full time operator of all 11 locations after the passing of her husband.  She finally retired in 2015 at the age of 85.  She often said that working kept her young and she cherished her employees and treated them like family.

Sally loved her family. She worked endless hours to provide a better life for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Although she came from humble beginnings she never lost sight of the importance of hard work and education.  She pushed her family to dream big and to build the life you want, not the one you have been given.  She loved to share achievments of her family and loved to watch their dreams come true. 

Sally is preceded in death by her parents, Her devoted husband William "Bill" Wilson and Daughter Jacqueline Meadows.

Sally left cherished and precious memories to her Daughters Dianne Styles (Michael Styles), Patricia Ellison, Kathy Fox.  Beloved Grandchildren Phillip Dyer, Emily Holland (Dricus Holland), Amanda Browning (Timothy Browning), Pamela Rohling (Chris Rohling), Paul Ellison (Erin Ellison), Ashleigh Quinones (Colton Quinones), Travis Branham, and great grandchildren Aaron Manders (Jordan Manders), Zakkary Browning, Isabel Browning, Fox Browning, Jaime Browning, Sofia Browning, Nathaniel Rohling, Jonathan Rohling, Juliana Rohling, Elijah Ellison, Ira Ellison, Ellie Mae Ellison, Isaac Ellison,and Oak Ellison.  Sally was also blessed with 2 great great grandchildren Emory Manders and Raegan Manders.

Sally’s family has chosen to celebrate her life privately.
