Mrs. Sharon Teresa Stevenson, age 66, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 11, 2026, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Gainesville.
Teresa was born on November 17, 1959, in Anderson, South Carolina, to the late Paul and Julia Marie (McCombs) Looper. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother, cherished sister, and loyal friend whose kindness and warmth touched everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Tim Stevenson; her children, Julia and Justin Dunn, Justin and Elizabeth Carrano, and Joey and Jennifer Carrano; and her seven beloved grandchildren, Lucas, Bradley, Alex, Ashton, Avery, JP, and Ollie. She also has siblings, Micah and Janice Looper, Gary and Rita Looper, and Brenda and John Lee, along with several nieces and nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Teresa will be remembered for being a die-hard Clemson fan, her loving heart, her witty humor, her enormous strength for her tiny body, her generosity, and the deep love she had for her family. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2026, in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home, with Tom Stevenson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Teresa’s memory to Hall County Animal Shelter, 1688 Barber Road, Gainesville, GA 30507.
