Mrs. Sherrell Williams, age 57, passed away on Saturday March 28, 2026 in Gainesville, Georgia. She was born to Barbara Payne and the late Bobby Payne on May 4, 1968 in Commerce, Georgia. She graduated from Johnson High School and later received an associates degree from the University of North Georgia.
A funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Dr. Mike Reynolds will officiate the service. Private graveside to follow. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her mother, Barbara Payne of Gainesville; husband, Michael Williams of Gainesville; sons, Justin Cape (Lexi) of Gainesville, Hunter Cape (Haley) of Dawsonville, Kane Williams, Will Williams (Sarah) of Gainesville; daughter, Erin Caldwell (Daniel) of Gainesville; grandchildren, Blakely Cape, Lynlee Cape, Liam Cape, Kimsey Caldwell, JW Caldwell, Lola Grace Williams, Vallie Williams, Reece Williams; and brother, Rodney Anderson (Carmen) of Gainesville.
