Sheryl "Sherri" Ann (Wright) Johnson

Sheryl Ann “Sherri” Johnson passed away unexpectantly but peacefully at home on March 8, 2023 at age 67. 

She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 9, 1955.  She lived in Ohio until she was 15 at which time she moved to Florida with her parents.  She graduated from Palmetto High School in 1973.  She stayed in Florida, with the exception of 3 years when she moved back to Ohio, until she retired from Manasota Flooring in December 2021.  At that time, she moved to Gainesville, GA to be close to her son, daughter-in-law, grandson and sister. 

Sherri was a very warm and loving person.  She was the care taker of her father until his death in July 2020.  She loved and was loved by her family and friends very much.  

Sherri is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Jean Wright and her niece, Pam Wright.  She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Braiden Johnson, and grandson, David Johnson; her sister Sandy Wright and her son, Dennis Wright and his son, Ryan Wright; her brother and his wife, Larry and Mary Wright, their daughter and her husband Kim and Shawn Monroe, and their son and daughter, Tim and Amber Monroe.

Her loved ones will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

Her Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Memorial Park Riverside Chapel.
