Shirley Estelle Flynn

Ms. Shirley Estelle Flynn, age 84, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Memorial Park Riverside Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at  Dewberry Baptist Church No. 2 with interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Shirley was born October 25, 1941 in Gainesville, Georgia, daughter of the late William and Bertha (Norris) Flynn. She was the 5th born out of 7 children. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Melvin and Robert Flynn; sisters, Joyce Flynn, Amanda Flynn Campbell and Estelle Flynn Parks, as well as Jackie and Malinda Clark.

Shirley is survived by her brother, Billy Flynn; nieces Malinda Ann Norman (Sylvester), Letiecia Davenport (Samuel Anefils), Jarica Cardoso (Ulises), Serenity, Salina, Jacklynn, and Tiana Young. Nephews Frankie Andrew Clark, Emmanuel Young, Ulises Jr., Samuel, Zackry, and Christian Anefils.

Shirley Flynn was a native of Hall County, where she competed in the Special Olympics. She attended Dewberry Baptist Church #2 with her family. She loved spending time with all of her nieces and nephews. Ms. Flynn enjoyed listening to church hymns and Elvis Presley.
