Shirley Jean Mayfield

Ms. Shirley Jean Mayfield a loving mother, sister, & Grandmother, was called to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 2, 2025. She was saved by the Grace of God and was a Baptist of Faith. She was a member at Airline Baptist Church. She was born to the late Pat Flanagan & Alma Ransom Flanagan on February 17, 1941 in Arkansas.

A funeral service will be on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at 3:30 PM in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Mike Welborn, Reverend Zach Johnson, & Reverend Tracy Sexton will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, October 5, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Ms. Mayfield is preceded in death by her sister, Judy Franks.

She is survived by children, Beverly (Tracy) Sexton, Vicki (Raeburn) Smith, Mike (Debbie) Mayfield; grandchildren, Heather (Brandon) Reece, Allison (RP) Benik, Ashley Williamson, AJ (Corissa) Sexton, Kristen (Colby) Fralick, Madison (Paul) Jaramillo, Connor Mayfield, Chandler Mayfield; 11 great-grandchildren, and multiple nieces & nephews.    

The family has requested that all guests wear Atlanta Braves attire for the funeral service.
