Our Beloved Steven Marshall Riddle of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Friday, July 3rd, 2026. He was born August 8th, 1958, in Edgerton, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 7th, 2026, in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m. Reverend. David Simpson will be officiating the service. Viewing service at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
He is survived by his mother Ruby Robinson. His loving sister Theresa Johnson (David) of Newport, Michigan. Three nieces, Erika Johnson of Port Huron Michigan, Stephanie Carter (Kevin), Curtice Ohio, and Taegen (Niko) Payne of Newport, Michigan.
He is also survived by 3 grandchildren. Emily Rose Chaney (Tristan) of Gainesville and Shawn and Colten Riddle of Dawsonville.
Steve was proceeded in death by his father Leonard in 1989, and a son Steven Michael Riddle in February of 2024.
He was the owner of Steven and Son construction. He was an avid outdoorsman. He especially loved boating, fishing, dancing and rock and roll music. He also enjoyed playing cards and dice with his mom, Ruby.
He was always proud to entertain on his boat "Riddle me this" on lake Lanier, especially for the 4th of July! He always wanted to make sure that everybody was having a good time.
Additionally, he had a bass boat that caught many fish on Lake Lanier. Traveling to Michigan was an annual event to go walleye fishing too.
He was also an avid hunter of deer, crocodile and wild boar. Lots of hilarious stories came from his trips.
Steve was a big guy with a heart as big as Texas. Life will never be the same for anyone who knew him.
