Teresa Carliena Elliott Werber

Teresa Carliena Elliott Werber, a devoted wife, loving mother & grandmother, sister, and friend, was called home into the arms of the Lord on September 30, 2025, at the age of 57.

She was the daughter of the late Virginia Helen Lee and Carlos Elliott, and is survived by her beloved husband, Louis Archer Werber; her stepmother, Beverly Elliott; her sisters, Katie Johnson, Christine and Melissa; and her brother, Carlos.

Above all else, she was a loving mother and grandmother. She leaves behind her daughter, Carliena Smith (Jeremy); her sons, Daniel Eller (Casey) and Matthew Eller (Kimberly). Her greatest joy in life was being “Nana” and “Meemaw.” She adored her grandchildren—Zoey, Madelyn, Keeleigh, Declan, Luke, Jeremy, Asher, and Gabriel—showering each of them with unconditional love. She delighted in their laughter, celebrated their accomplishments, and always made time to create special moments and cherished memories with them. She also opened her heart to many others along the way, becoming a “second mom” to countless adopted children who will always remember her love.

Her life was a beautiful example of compassion and devotion. As a nurse, she cared for others with kindness and dedication.

At home, she found her greatest joy in her family, her dogs, her friends, and the traditions that made every holiday feel special. She was full of laughter, quick to smile, and happiest when surrounded by those she loved. Teresa lived her life guided by faith and in the love of God, inspiring all who knew her with her grace, kindness, and unwavering spirit.

She will be remembered as a kind soul with a generous heart, a woman who lived life to its fullest and gave her very best to everyone she knew. Her courage, strength, and laughter will echo forever in the memories and hearts of those blessed enough to have known her.

Services to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Hillside Gardens. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00PM.
