Terry Sanders, Sr.

Mr. Terry Sanders, Sr., age 70, of Buford passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026 at his residence, surrounded by family.

The family will receive friends 6:00pm – 8:00pm, Friday, March 27, 2026 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Born January 3, 1956 in East Chicago, Indiana to the late Hosie & Ernestine (Johnson) Sanders, he was a member of Freedom Christian Center. Terry retired from Inland Steel and Abbott Northwestern Hospital.

Mr. Sanders is survived by his wife, Edith Sanders; sons, Terry (Barbra) Sanders Jr., Cordell Sanders, Jeremy Terry; and daughters, Lolita Jones, Ernestine (Eric) Hart, Shaprice Terry and Rebecka Sanders; 31 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; brothers Greg (Sherry) Sanders and Shelby Sanders; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Tara Sanders and his son Quienten Terry, and a host of other loved ones.
