Timothy Dale Loggins

Timothy “Tim” Dale Loggins, age 67, of Gainesville, GA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 6, 2025. Born in Gainesville to the late Ralph and Delzie Popham Loggins, Tim lived a life marked by hard work, devotion to family, and a generous spirit. Tim is of the Baptist faith.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents and his oldest son, Timothy Quest Loggins.

A 1976 graduate of Gainesville High School, Tim was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. He began his career at Gress Foods, then spent 25 years at Peachtree Doors and Windows until its closing in 2008. Following that, he worked at Advanced Auto Parts while pursuing classes in information technology, and most recently was employed with US Infrastructure Corporation (USIC). Tim was never afraid of hard work and took pride in everything he did.

Yet his greatest joy and accomplishment was being a father and grandfather to his beloved grandchildren. He never missed birthdays or holidays, and he always showed up when it mattered most. If you needed him, he was there. Tim was a loving father, grandfather, and friend whose presence brought comfort and strength to those around him.

Beyond his family and work, Tim enjoyed baseball and spent many years coaching Little League for his sons at Wauka Mountain Elementary. He also played men’s and co-ed softball at Lanier Point. He loved fishing, hunting, and solving problems—always ready to lend a hand or figure out a way forward.

Tim is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Stephanie Loggins; his son, Kyle Loggins; grandchildren Taylor, Mason, Skye, Weston, and Flint Loggins; several cousins; the mother of his children and close friend, Carol Roberts; and many dear friends he met along life’s journey.

Funeral Services

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Baptist Church Cemetery, Cleveland. The Reverend Ronnie Fuller and Reverend Zack Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM.

Tim’s legacy of love, hard work, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
