Mrs. Vickie Cofer Caines, 69, of Bogart, Georgia, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 27, 1957, in Atlanta, Georgia, Vickie was the youngest of three daughters born to Cecil and Margaret Cofer. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sisters, Linda Ledford and Brenda Cofer.
Vickie is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 50 years, Dean Caines; her daughters, Brooke (Stewart) White and Amber (Todd) Zittrouer; her seven grandsons, Hunter White, Ross (Kristin) White, Mason White, Will White, Carter Zittrouer, Jackson Zittrouer, and Cooper Zittrouer; her two great-grandchildren, Hudson White and Eloise White; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Vickie was a member of Living Word Baptist Church and cherished her church family. She found great joy in gardening, spending time outdoors, and creating lasting memories with family and friends. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for those around her will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
A memorial service celebrating Vickie’s life will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Living Word Baptist Church located at 2761 Monroe Hwy. Bogart, GA 30622.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated staff of Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital and especially to the hospice team for their exceptional care, compassion, and support during Vickie’s final days.

Vickie’s legacy of love, devotion to her family, and the many lives she touched will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
