Virginia Bell Obituary

Mrs. Virginia Collins Bell, age 79, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026 in Gainesville, Georgia. She was born to the late Melvin Jessie Collins and Willie Lou Anderson Collins on November 16, 1946 in Gainesville, Georgia. She was a graduate of East Hall High School. Virginia never met a stranger, she had a way of making everyone feel like family the moment she met them. She was a die-hard fan who loved watching her Bulldogs and could be found cheering them on in front the TV every game day. Whether she was soaking up the sun, Virginia was happiest in nature. Her favorite days were spent, camping at Boggs Creek, gardening, loved going to the pool, she also enjoyed races; her favorite race car driver was Dale Earnhart, Jr.

Above all else, she adored her family, her grandkids were the light of her life, she cherished every moment with them. She was a woman of strong values who believed in the importance of respecting your elders and keeping traditions alive. Christmas was one of her favorite Holidays. She enjoyed decorating every corner of her home.
