Virginia Earlene Phillips

Mrs. Virginia Earlene Phillips, age 89, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at her residence. She was born to the late Cesastis Caldwell and Bessie Cockran Caldwell on January 18, 1936 in Dalton, Georgia.

A funeral service will be will held in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 7, 2025 at 1:00 PM. Reverend James Kanaday and Reverend Bobby Griffin will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Mrs. Phillips is preceded in death by her parents; brothers; Talmadge Caldwell, Gladwell Caldwell, Sam Caldwell, Mack Caldwell; sister, Willia Mae Stark, Wariga Simmons, and Florence Dean.

She is survived by her son, Jackie (Lonna) Helton of Dawsonville; grandson, Jeff Helton (Leigh Ann) of Gainesville; great-grandchildren, Kaleb Helton of Dawsonville, Nathan Linn of Dawsonville, and Rebecca Linn of Dawsonville.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Drive, Gainesville, Georgia 30504 is in charge of the arrangements.
