William Felton Pirkle

Mr. William “Billy” Felton Pirkle Jr., age 81, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026, in Toccoa, Georgia. He was born on March 28, 1944, to the late William Felton Pirkle and Mildred Rasmussen Thompson in Gainesville, Ga.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, January 15th, 2026, at 12:00 PM, in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Ben Huff will officiate the service.

Mr. Pirkle was a retired veteran of the United States Air Force. He was also the former owner of Pirkle’s Café located on Main St. in Gainesville Ga. 

Along with his parents, Mr. Pirkle is preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen Ingram.

He is survived by his son, William Felton Pirkle III of Clermont, his granddaughter, Brooke Pirkle, his grandsons; Will and Brody, his sister, Frances Huff (Benje) of Demorest, his brothers; David Pirkle of Demorest, Carl Pirkle of Gainesville, his sisters; Shirley Pirkle of Braselton, Elizabeth Gettys of Pickens, S.C. also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
