William Lamar Waddell

Mr. William Lamar Waddell, age 63, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. He was a 1981 graduate of North Hall High School. An avid outdoorsman, he found his greatest joy hiking, hunting, and above all else, trout fishing.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Mr. Waddell is preceded in death by his father, Eros Waddell.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Higgins Waddell of Gainesville; siblings, Kristie (Brian) Wehunt of Gainesville, Joseph (Angie) Waddell of Gainesville; aunts, Janice (Tommy) Cagle, Barbara (Charles) Shadburn; special cousins, Maria Nolan Neal Waddell; his circle of friends he had since elementary school, Tim Ivey, Scott Masters, Darryl Wilson, Steve Spain, and Tony Satterfield.
